Students of the Month
Congratulations to our students who achieved student of the week during the month of January. These students were Joshua Adler, Chance Bell, Edwin Herrera Gomez, Eleanor Kuelbs, Kaleb Meyer, Keston Niven, Natalie Schram and Hunter Tuma. Way to go students!
Student Performance
As we enter the third quarter, please continue to monitor your child’s grades. Any help and encouragement you can give is greatly appreciated. If at any point you have concerns or questions, do not hesitate to give the teacher a call to discuss your concerns.
Spelling Bee
Finley Sommer was the EMMS 2024 Spelling Bee winner. He will move on to regional competition at the end of the month. Good luck Finley!
Clothing
We have had some unseasonably warm winter days recently, but please continue to have your child dress for the weather. Students should still wear a coat to school each day and have an extra layer they can wear if they get cold.
MS Girls’ Basketball
Our middle school girls’ basketball season has a few games left in February. Please refer to our website for game dates and times.
MS Wrestling
Our middle school wrestling team has a few meets left in February. Please refer to our website for the meet schedule.
Parent Teacher Conferences
Our next round of conferences will take place on February 22. We will schedule these P/T conferences through Sign-Up Genius. We would welcome all parents and students to come talk with us about progress. More information will be coming home soon. If that night does not work, please communicate with your student’s teacher to find a time to meet.
Badlands Trip
As part of our PBIS reward system, students having shown great character and responsibility over the first half of the school year were able to participate in a trip to the Badlands in the Hudson area for a day of snow tubing. Students had a great trip, and we are looking forward to more reward trips at the end of the school year for each grade level.
Upcoming Dates:
