Mound View Elementary School Parent-Teacher Organization
The Parent-Teacher Organization (PTO) is made up of parents and staff from Mound View Elementary School. The PTO strives to maintain a positive educational environment by promoting open communication between administration, staff, parents, and the community, and by supporting the educational and recreational needs of Mound View students and families through leadership, sponsorship, fundraising, and family events. |

The PTO has made the following accomplishments as a result of our incredible volunteers and previous fund-raising efforts:
- Purchased and installed playground equipment
- First day of school party
- Welcome back gifts for teachers and staff
- Organized Halloween contests
- Sponsored the production of the "Pied Piper" with the Eau Claire Children's Theatre
- Sponsored Family Fun Nights: Sock Hop, Beach Party, and Carnival
- Purchased computers for the mobile computer lab
- Purchased the rock-climbing wall in the gym
- Purchased keyboards for the music room
- Provided incentive prizes for reading programs, including a book for each 1st grader, and pizza parties for 1st and 2nd graders achieving their reading goals
- Purchased more equipment for recesses, including soccer balls, basketballs, and jump ropes
- Obtained great speakers and presenters for the students and families to enjoy
- Purchased books for the Mound View Elementary library
- Purchased Smart Boards for use within each grade
