Elk Mound Area School District uses Infinite Campus as our student management software and food service software. With this program, each parent/guardian is granted a Parent Portal account. Your parent portal will give you access to data for each of your children within our district through a drop down menu in the program. The portal is an amazing tool which allows you greater access to student information. You may make online payments through the payments selection to your child’s lunch account which will post immediately to their account. You will be able to access your child’s attendance on a real time basis, and students in grades 5-12 will have their grades available on the portal as well. Your account tab will allow you to change how we contact you, including opting-out of receiving emergency text messages. Families will find a convenient calendar listing each of their children with the dates they have assignments due, giving parents an overall view into their children’s homework. The communication tool in Campus may contain posted messages that will show up on the portal log-in screen. These posts may contain information from each child’s school regarding events, grades, updates and inclement weather.
Our district will utilize messenger through Infinite Campus to contact parents via email or phone using voice or text messages. Our school messages could include grade reports, low account food service balances and upcoming events. Messenger may also be used as our automated phone calling system to alert parents of any emergency situation or inclement weather. Parents can log onto their portal, enter their email address, request changes to demographics and select the best method of contact for important messages during the school day.
As stated above, we utilize Infinite Campus for our food service program. Information on account balances, payments and purchases will be available through the parent portal. Each of your children will have their own individual lunch account. All deposits will be equally divided between children in your household unless specified at the time of deposit. Please remember the system is a pre-paid system; money must be deposited into the account prior to the purchase of meals. If you are depositing money online, please be aware that there will be a convenience fee of $2.00 per transaction. You may also make payments by sending a check in the mail to 405 University St, Elk Mound, WI 54739 or by dropping off payments to your child’s building secretary. Meal prices are: Breakfast for PS-12th is $1.25, lunch for K-4th is $2.20 and 5th–12th is $2.55. Milk at milk break is $0.25 per carton. Reduced price meals are $0.00.
Included with Infinite Campus is a mobile app for parents wanting the convenience of monitoring their children’s progress away from home. Check real time information on any mobile device, whether Android or Apple product, by downloading the free Infinite Campus app at the iTunes or Google Play app store. Please remember you will have to have a username and password before you can gain access to the Infinite Campus App. You will need to enter the school district’s ID: WGYMQL.
Please visit our district website at www.elkmound.k12.wi.us to log onto the parent portal and click on Parents, then click on Campus Portal. Please call your building secretary to receive your personal summary report which contains your Person GUID which is your activation key that you will need to get started with the registration process. At the log in screen, you will need to hit the Help button and then select If you have been assigned a Campus Portal Activation Key, click here. Enter your activation key/Person GUID and then you will create a user name and password. Once you have activated your account, please be aware that the school will not have any of your customized login or password information.
